This year’s holiday program will present songs that exemplify the beauty of light and its influences on the season.

Selections include works from contemporary composers like Morten Lauridsen (Sure on This Shining Night), Ola Gjeilo (Northern Lights), and Eric Whitacre (Glow).

Other highlights, like The Boar’s Head Carol and a medley from the film The Polar Express, will help guarantee a remarkable evening!

This year’s showcase theme relates to a concept that’s cherished by everyone – LOVE!

Music selections will be sung by small group ensembles, solo performers, and the whole Chorale. A complimentary food buffet and cash bar will be included. Cabaret-style table seating (at Arden venue only) can be reserved.

The song list features a collection of traditional and pop hits with a sprinkling of Broadway favorites. From contemporary singers like Billy Joel, Alicia Keys and Meghan Trainor to musicals such as West Side Story, Rent and Dreamgirls.

Featuring music that explores life’s twists and turns using the seasons – summer, autumn, winter, spring – as a metaphor to express our joys, sorrows, and wonders.

With composers ranging from Mendelssohn to Simon & Garfunkel — including modern-day luminaries like Craig Hella Johnson and the gutsy Susan Werner.

And songs like “Jai-Ho” from Slumdog Millionaire, “The Color Purple,” “How Can I Keep from Singing,” and Andra Day’s showstopping “Rise Up” – you are guaranteed a fantastic show!
